Kailash Parbat Dublin brings a slice of Mumbai’s vibrant street food culture to the East Bay, specializing in North Indian vegetarian fare with a particular focus on classic Mumbai snacks. Located on Summit Road, this restaurant offers a casual yet lively atmosphere that reflects the bustling energy of its namesake city without the rush, making it a comfortable spot for both quick bites and relaxed dinners.

The menu clearly leans into familiar street food favorites like Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, and Aamchi Mumbai Sandwich, alongside heartier North Indian staples such as Chana Masala and Manchow Soup. The presence of items like Chilli Naan and Peri Peri Fries hints at some creative fusion touches. Diners often appreciate the authentic flavor balance of spices, although some dishes (like the vada pav or manchuria) may vary slightly in oiliness or saltiness, but staff responsiveness helps smooth things out quickly.

The setting appeals to those who want a casual dining experience with a bit of Mumbai’s street vibe — bright colors, aromatic spices, and bustling service without feeling rushed. The service is noted to be friendly and efficient, catering well to groups of friends or families looking for a flavorful, affordable Indian meal. Cleanliness, including well-kept restrooms, adds to the overall comfortable visit.

This place works well for anyone craving fresh, spice-forward Indian street food during lunch or dinner, especially if you enjoy vegetarian options cooked with attention to traditional flavors. It’s also a good stop for people wanting to try chatpata chaats or share plates in a lively, unfussy environment. Weeknights or early evenings would be a good time to visit for quicker seating and to enjoy the vibrant food and warm service without peak-hour crowds.

I recently visited this restaurant with my friends, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I absolutely loved the taste of the food and the overall ambience of the place—it truly captures the vibrant feel of Mumbai street food. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively quick without feeling rushed. The quality of the food was excellent, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. If you’re in the Dublin area and want to experience genuine Mumbai-style food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I especially recommend trying the Manchow soup and the Vada Pav—both were delicious and really stood out. Overall, it’s a great spot for good food, great service, and a warm atmosphere.

Everything was great. Food is very fresh and excellent. All spices were to the mark. Ambience was very nice and bathroom was very clean. Highly recommended. Make sure you try their Vada Pav.

Great place for some really delicious food. We ordered vada pav, the vada was a bit oily, but the taste was really good. It accompanied with mint chutney and it tasted really great too. We couldn't hold our hunger and deep dived into the fried rice and manchuria. The manchuria was a bit salty and when notified, it was rectified immediately and was modified accordingly. However the overall food was great and will be visiting back to explore other menu options

We were on the other side of the bay and saw that this place was highly rated, so we decided to stop by. The ambience is inviting, and the service is quick and warm. The food is tasty, with a good variety of chaats and Indian vegetable dishes. Overall, the food is good and the prices are great. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely a spot we would visit again.

A Slice of Mumbai in California! Authentic Indian street food at its finest! I recently visited for dinner with my wife and son, and it was a fantastic experience. The Vada Pao was true Mumbai style. It was a bit too buttery for my personal liking—though that’s on me for forgetting to mention my preference—but my wife absolutely loved it! The Misal Pao was milder than I expected, likely adjusted for local palates, but the authentic flavor was still spot-on. The Manchow Soup was another winner; it was so kid-friendly that my son finished the whole bowl (and even shared the Misal Pao!). We also highly recommend the Bhalla Papdi Chaat—it was amazing. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun with Rabdi was delicious, but the Kulfi Falooda was truly next level. To drink, the Chilli Guava was so good my son practically claimed it for himself! Kailash Parbat was definitely a highlight of our California trip. We’ll be back!
